Anxiety Tried My Life, Bruh..
As of late I have become more consistent in submitting my day to day life to God. Sometimes that can be the hardest thing to do knowing I haven't planned my day or prioritized. When I become disorganized like that, I get extreme anxiety , and tend to think that I can handle all of my troubles myself. That', like, my default setting as a person. It's super hard for me at times to trust God with my life because I know he's going to take me to the unknown.
In the middle of my one man show balancing act of troubles and worry, I heard God speak to me as I came to him resubmitting myself. He said:
" Stop focusing on your disability, and focus on me. Stop letting your struggle consume you and let me captivate your presence. If my name is above every name, why do you exalt your difficulty so much?
I have prepared the way, and made it clear for you. I need you to tap into the authority I placed in you. Walk in that. Uphold that. Satan will flee, but his devices are building your character, strength, and foundation in me. He's only a little dog with a big bark.
He knows where he's going, and he has an idea of the great things in store for you. Don't get distracted by his bark. Don't get distracted by this world. He wants you off course.
I am with you. Every step of the way.
I don't care where you don't 'measure' up at. I called you. The measurements you are weighing yourself to are not made by me. I am the ruler of your life. Not this world."
After this encounter I was led to read from the bible. Here are some scriptures to meditate on now:
Psalms 46:10 - He says, "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." 11. The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.
1 Peter 5:6 - Humble yourselves therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. 7. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
